A winner stands alone
“If you believe in victory, then victory will believe in you.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Winner Stands Alone
Different people perceive the word " winner" differently.
⦁ For some, getting that gold in the Olympics is "winning"
⦁ For others, getting a promotion might be winning.
⦁ And for some, a "salary day" might be their winning day.
But, for me, a winner is one who achieves his long-lasting goal.
He is one who can fulfil his wishes, dreams and aspirations. He is one who always had one single goal in mind and worked towards the fulfilment of it. He, who has the zeal to do what he wants. He, who doesn't depend on others to fulfil his dreams for him. He is a winner.
And such breed of people is difficult to find.
They are a few, and that's why they always stand alone.
They do not fear to tread on a different path. They do not fear to take up risks. They do not fear to try again and again. They are laughed at, mocked and made fun of. But this doesn't stop them. This doesn't let them forget the one goal they were working for.
And that's why a winner stands alone.
For them, Winning is not everything. It is the only thing that exists. And this is what makes a winner magnetic. You can always spot a winner in a crowd. They always stand out.
And they always stand alone.
Donald Trump in a speech said, "The thing that separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate". Fate...Fate can turn anytime. Unexpectedly...But the reaction of a person...that is what defines a winner. A winner will never let fate determine his decisions. A winner will bend his fate. People believe in palmistry and think that whatever happens to them, happens for a cause, because of the alignment of the moons and stars.
A winner creates his lines, creates his fate
And that's why he always stands alone because not everyone has this capability.
A winner is a winner because he chose to be one. He didn't rely on people to judge and tell him if he was a winner or not. A winner is a winner because he chose to respond to those misleading, "down-leading" situations differently. He chose not to get frustrated and just smile at the mockers.
And that's why a winner always stands alone.
If something is important to a winner, he will do it, even if he doesn't want to do it. He will leave his comfort zone and work towards his goal. He will take responsibility for his actions.
And that's why a winner always stands alone.
